TASHLICK
We will hold Tashlick Services at Will Rogers State Beach Park immediately after the Rosh Hashana Day 2 Morning Service and Luncheon. We will expect to gather at the beach at approximately 2 pm and conclude around 4 pm.Tashlick, meaning "to cast away", is always celebrated on the second day of Rosh Hashanah in the afternoon. We will enter into the traditional Tashlick ceremony: writing down on little pieces of paper (from our Book of Life) our "sins" our negative, misdirected habits or patterns that we want to cast away, then casting the papers (and hopefully our "sins") into a body of water, the ocean.

Please bring a pencil or pen, paper and yourself to the ceremony.
DIRECTIONS for Tashlick
For those who attend second day services: We will car pool down to the beach. (Or you can drive yourself down.) B'nai Horin will pay the parking for the car pool drivers. For those who do NOT attend the morning second day services:
You are welcome to join us at the beach at approximately 2 pm.
Will Rogers State Beach Park is at Temescal Canyon & Pacific Coast Hwy.
