HHDs-BH Style
In 5770/2009, for the 19th year, the members of B’nai Horin and our friends and families are returning to Brandeis-Bardin Institute to celebrate the Holy Days in a peaceful and beautiful natural setting.

Our services follow the Jewish Renewal path, with meditation, prayer, music and dance to stir our hearts and souls, connecting us to our ancient roots, speaking to each of our lives today. Our cantorial soloists, singers and musicians inspire us with traditional and modern ninguns, prayers and songs. Each prayer is presented, its’ meaning and tradition explored, then spiritually experienced anew.
We celebrate in the House of the Book, a building in the shape of a Torah, on top of a hill, much like Mt Sinai. On Yom Kippur afternoon, with songs and prayers, we await the sunset on a large circular patio on top of the mountain, next to the House of the Book. As the sun sets and the moon rises, we bless our new year, the spectacular world that surrounds us, the wine and challah before enjoying the break-the-fast meal.
Each New Year we return to B’nai Horin and The Brandeis-Bardin Institute, with more members, more family and new friends! We hope you will join with us this year.
For the seventh year, we will celebrate the 2nd Day of Rosh Hashana in Pacific Palisades. The Morning Service (ONLY FOR THOSE WHO REGISTERED BY AUG 29, 2009) is intimate and special. Less formal service, more deep connections. It concludes with a gourmet luncheon, then a short ride down the hill for our Tashlick Celebration at the beach in Santa Monica. (Everyone is welcome, at no charge, to our Tashlick Celebration.)

Pricing is on the Pricing & Fees Page. The fees for services DO NOT include the use of a prayerbook, lodging or meals or our child/youth programs. Each of these is priced separately.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
