The Jewish Enrichment Club
Looking for an alternative to the mainstream Sunday school experience? Interested in fostering positive Jewish memories for you children? The Jewish Enrichment Club just may be the answer you were looking for.
Keeping Jewishness alive and meaningful for children is the mission of the Jewish Enrichment Club. Meets the 1st and 3rd of each month plus for occasional field trips and holiday celebrations. For ages 10-11 years old. Meets at 4:00-6:30 pm.

Curriculum
- Spiritual understanding of holidays and Jewish rituals
- Historical survey of our people
- Jewish heroes and their ethics
- Hebrew learning with emphasis on songs and chants
In a relaxed home atmosphere the Pre Bar-mitzvah program offers an array of experiences all design to strengthen one’s connection to our rich Heritage. The meetings take place on Friday afternoons and end with a mini family Shabbat celebration.
Prior to lighting candles the children may study Hebrew, read and reflect while resting on sofas under soft blankets, nurture trees and plants they have planted, cook chicken soup, or transform their club room to welcome the Shabbat. These are only some of the hands-on activities that will support your child in relating more deeply.
Field trips and community involvement are some of the other fun ways we help children see the world through Jewish eyes.

Rina Daly-Goode M. A., the director and visionary of the program, established the Jewish Enrichment Club in 1995 as a response to the growing frustration of parents and children to the syndrome of “Classroom-Judaism”.
Rina holds an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology in addition to a B.A. in Child Development and Jewish Studies. Rina incorporates her passion for ritual and mindful spirituality into the curriculum.
The Jewish Enrichment Club draws its support and inspiration from Rabbi Stan Levy, the Bnai-Horin community, and the Jewish Renewal Movement.
